Pathways to Homeownership
helping families achieve their dream of homeownership
Through Pathways to Homeownership, families can reduce their debt to income ratio in order to qualify for Habitat for Humanity’s new homeownership or Preserve a Home programs. Habitat provides families up to $5,000 in assistance to pay down commercial debt before they enter into a 12-24 month interest free payment plan. Upon completion of repayment, and financial counseling with the affiliate’s partner, The Financial Empowerment Center, applicants will be eligible to apply for homeownership with the affiliate.
