Our board of trustees got out today and painted at a rehab home project in Firestone Park. This beautiful century home was generously donated through an estate to our organization to “make it new” for another family. Our affiliate is joined this week by two vice presidents from Habitat’s US office, Carmen Smith and Jack Bridges. An exciting week with them is planned from today until our Block Party Celebration Friday of 16 new single family homes at Silver Maple Ridge in Akron’s North Hill neighborhood.
