I started this journey with a dream much bigger than me
The vision you had made it easier for me to see
You’ve extended your hands, your hearts and your time
You unselfishly sowed love into this soil now mine
You have committed to changing lives in ways words can’t express God gave you an assignment, you’ve passed every test
I can’t imagine the arrival without first taking the journey
The blessing of receiving did not come without gifts of learning … Patience, faith, teamwork and perseverance
The Commitment of giving back while gaining 400hrs of experience Though most homes are comprised of wood, hammers and nails A Habitat home sets apart with a greater story to tell
I’ve captured each moment and through each of you I see
How the fruit of the spirit became flesh and presented itself to me So it doesn’t end here, a volunteer partner I’ll always be
because through the mastery of God’s carpentry, as we are building homes, He is building a family

– Darla, 2018 Habitat Homeowner
