Habitat for Humanity of Summit County is offering residents in the below highlighted East Akron neighborhood home repair projects during our Neighborhood Reborn event. During two volunteers days, a resident led neighborhood revitalization will take place in this community, with assistance from volunteers, Habitat staff and Summit County Public Health to complete the following tasks:

  • Critical Home Repairs – Homeowners Apply Today!
  • General Landscaping Assistance & Solar Powered Security Light Installation
  • Public Space Improvements

Give us a call and we can mail you an application or stop by our offices to pick one up. What are we trying to do?

  1. Create Sense of Community – residents, community associations and partners identifying with the neighborhood, feel connected and support one another
  2. Create Social Cohesion – residents, community associations and partners have the willingness and competency to work cooperatively
  3. Improve Housing – help residents have decent, safe, stable, affordable housing
  4. Improve Safety – help residents have a sense of personal and neighborhood safety

    Habitat for Humanity of Summit County’s Neighborhood Network is hosting a Neighborhood Reborn volunteer community event to unite neighbors and revitalize the neighborhood.

    When: Friday, June 27th and Saturday, June 28th

    Where: Lincoln Elementary School 3131 Bailey Rd. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221

    Madison Ave. Adams Ave. and Hayes Ave. from Wilson St. to Bailey Rd. and Orrville Ave. Killarney St. and Franklin Ave. around Lincoln Elementary School.
