    Habitat for Humanity of Summit County’s Neighborhood Network is hosting a Neighborhood Reborn volunteer community event to unite neighbors and revitalize the neighborhood. 

    When: Friday, July 19th, 2024 from 9am to 3pm

    Where: Preston Park at 650 Taylor Avenue, Cuyahoga Falls

    – submit application here: View Application Here Don’t have access to the internet or a printer? No problem! Give us a call and we can mail you an application or stop by our offices to pick one up.  

    – applications due by July 8th

    – projects can include trash removal, lawn mowing, power washing, mulching and more!

    Walk Audit Volunteer

    Attend this quick info and training session with your fellow neighbors to learn all about walk audits; what they are and how your participation can turn into real improvements on your neighborhood!

    Things you will learn & achieve:

    – advocate for community improvements 

    – collect the data needed to make a change

    – submit data to local leaders, asking for action

    – see positive improvements like potholes fixed, etc.

    General Event Volunteer

    Join us for Neighborhood Reborn on July 19th and help with all landscaping projects including weeding, mulching, picking up trash.

    All materials & equipment provided

    – build community by working side by side with your fellow neighbors

    – have fun supporting your community, making a positive impact 

     

    What is our goal?

    1. Create Sense of Community – residents, community associations and partners identifying with the neighborhood, feel connected and support one another
    2. Create Social Cohesion – residents, community associations and partners have the willingness and competency to work cooperatively
    3. Improve Housing – help residents have decent, safe, stable, affordable housing
    4. Improve Safety – help residents have a sense of personal and neighborhood safety
