Great Big Home and Garden EXPO- ReStore Flip
Are you creative?
Join us for our third ReStore FLIP where we invite participants to come to ReStore, pick out an item under $100, take it home to “flip” it, and bring it back to sell the item in a charity silent auction at the 2019 Great Big Home + Garden Show!
How it works
• Artists may pick one item from the ReStore (or use other pieces of furniture) and take it home with them.
• Send us a picture of the unfinished item and a headshot of yourself. Please also include a few sentences about the inspiration behind your design. The show will create signage to be placed by your upcycled item.
• Upcycle or flip the piece of furniture and give it new life!
• Return the renewed piece to the Habitat for Humanity of Summit County ReStore (2301 Romig Road, Akron, OH, 44320) or bring it to the I-X Center (1 I-X Center Dr., Cleveland, OH, 44135) during home show set-up, January 29 through January 31.
• The items will be in a Silent Auction during the Great Big Home + Garden Show from February 1-10, 2019.
• Winners will be called the following Monday, February 11th. All proceeds go towards building homes with Habitat for Humanity in Summit County!
