Habitat for Humanity of Summit County, Inc. is happy to accept volunteers as long as there is work to do and the weather is permitting. There is no specific commitment necessary to become a Habitat volunteer, you may come out as often as you like. We ask that you view our volunteer calendar (see link below) and review available dates for volunteering. Once you have a date(s) in mind, call the office to reserve your spot on the calendar. Our normal building schedule is Tuesday thru Saturday from 8:30am- 4pm. This of course can change if the weather does not cooperate, and if we have a large group of volunteers. Please bring your own hammer, sunscreen and water bottle when working on a Habitat work site. "Women Build" - We are currently organizing a "Women Build" project for 2008. This home will be fully funded and constructed by women only. If you are interested in this project, please call our office at 330-785-2700 or email your contact information to hfhsc@ohio.net to be notified of upcoming dates associated with the "Women Build" project. To learn more about "Women Build" click here. ReStore Volunteering - We need people who are available during the week to assist with picking up donated materials.
