Along with all the gifts we have received, something new and exciting found its way under the tree this year. In an effort to increase brand awareness, Habitat for Humanity International and Habitat ReStore have partnered with Glad and the Glad to Give campaign.
Through the Glad to Give program, Glad is encouraging America to clean out 31 items intended for donation, one for each day of the month of January. The Glad to Give Program was inspired by people using Glad ForceFlex bags for heavy donations, because they can fill it, stretch it and stuff it with just about anything they want to donate.
The Glad Products Company has established a public relations campaign asking the nation to donate new and gently used items to Habitat ReStore in the month of January. Their customers can either log onto www.glad.com/glad-to-give and order a special Glad to Give yellow donation bag, or schedule a pick up at their chosen charity/non-profit within the list on the site.
We're happy to say that it's simple for you to participate! Glad already has our Habitat ReStore location listed on the Glad to Give website. The only other thing we would love for you to do is help increase the awareness for this campaign, and post the Glad to Give link on your social media platforms and use the hashtag #gladtogive.
Struggling for something to post on social media? How about this!
"We are Glad to Give! Visit www.glad.com/glad-to-give for more information, order a free Glad to Give bag, schedule a donation pick up and use #GladtoGive to join the movement on social media."
Well, we know that many of the best donations that Habitat ReStores receive don't fit into garbage sacks, and that's okay. But we are excited about this partnership because of the opportunity to work with a large company with a great reputation. We can benefit from these types of campaigns which have a broad audience and can increase our brand awareness in new ways.
Use this opportunity to share with potential new donors about how easy and great it is to donate to the Habitat for Humanity of Summit County ReStore!
Any questions about this partnership, email Deondai Colquitt at email@example.com. You can also browse the Glad to Give website to see the overall campaign information.
We are a 2015 'A+' Charity!
