Tom Marttala joined the HFHSC team as a Site Supervisor in June of 2007. Before joining the Habitat team, Tom worked for Kilgore Construction Insurance Restoration and Erie Swan Construction. Tom was also previously self-employed as a paint contractor and carpenter.
With his experience in construction, Tom was the Facility and Grounds Manager for St. Stephen Lutheran Church. He has also used his knowledge and background to manage rental properties.
Tom earned an associates degree in applied science and air traffic control from the Community College of Beaver County. He has also participated in the Dale Carnegie Course for private pilot airplane instrument rating.
Tom lives in Munroe Falls with his wife, Joan and their daughter, Kayla. When he is not working for Habitat, Tom enjoys golfing, bowling, hunting, fishing and hiking.
Tom would like to become a Mission Trip leader and help those in other countries who are in need. He is also interested in continuing to work with Habitat to help others overcome housing challenges.
