Jim Sukys joined Habitat for Humanity of Summit County in January, 2011. Prior to that he was President of Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School for six years following a 23-year career in a variety of positions in the accounting and finance area. Jim hold's a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Dayton and is a CPA (inactive).
Jim's primary focus is to help fund the building of homes through adopt-a-house donations, coalitions, foundations and the annual appeal. He enjoys the challenge of building new relationships and introducing people and organizations to the wonderful mission of Habitat for Humanity. Jim is also responsible for the operations of the ReStore, volunteer and family services, and oversees marketing and communications.
Jim is a member of St. Mary Parish in Hudson, where he is a Eucharistic Minister. He is on the Board of Directors for the Twinsburg Chamber of Commerce and the Towpath Chamber of Commerce. He also serves on the board of Leave A Legacy, and is a member of the Fairlawn Area Chamber of Commerce.
Jim is married to Jean, has four boys and resides in Hudson. He enjoys golfing and exercising.
