Elizabeth Johnson is a single mother of one adult daughter, Taylor. In addition, Elizabeth has custody of four nieces and a nephew – Dakota, Dorrien, Darrien, Kai’dence, and Darshon – ranging in ages from 17 years to 4 years, pictured above. A friend told Elizabeth about Habitat for Humanity and suggested that she apply.
Elizabeth has been employed by the City of Akron for the past 15 years as a 911 operator as well as the 911 Public Awareness Coordinator. Taylor recently graduated with honors from Tiffin University with a major in Forensic Science and a minor in Forensic Psychology, and is now attending George Washington University. Elizabeth’s nieces and nephew are active in swimming and camping, and are making great progress in school.
