The Copeland Family

Scott heard about the program from Habitat employee Lori Nitzsche. Scott moved out of his parent’s home before he was 18 and got a full time job to support himself. He has three sisters. Scott works full time at The University of Akron and will be enrolling in school soon. He is not sure yet what he wants to study.

Scott works hard and in qualifying for the Habitat program he will become a homeowner by the age of 22. There are no children right now in Scott’s life but keep in mind that people don’t have to be married or have children to become partner families with Habitat. Way to go Scott!
